Dhadon
We have been sponsoring Dhadon since 1994 shortly after she arrived at the Tibetan Childrens Village Dharamsala India from Tibet

She was sent with friends, by her parents who were poor
farmers in Tibet, on this two month journey to India, for an
education and the chance of a better, more secure future
Over the years we have received drawings, letters, cards
and then emails with the evident improvement in her English

She worked hard at school and was offered a scholarship at Berea College, Kentucky USA. The College provides free education to students with academic promise and considerable financial need.
Dhadon left the Tibetan Childrens Village in 2007 to take up her scholarship at Berea College in Kentucky, U.S.A. We are all naturally very proud of our god daughters achievements. She has now graduated from Berea College on 8th May 2011 with a degree of Bachelor of Art in Biology.
